“Discover and Grow together in a Place to be Me”

Discover – At Peel Common Nursery and Infant School we deliver a curriculum based on principles of excellent learning and teaching, where children are able to take an active role in their learning, have ownership and develop the skills, concepts and knowledge to equip them to be lifelong learners.

Grow – At Peel Common Nursery and Infant School we are committed to ensuring that all children make excellent progress and are aware of where they are in their learning and what they need to do in order to get better.  Adults track progress to improve learning for all children and groups of children.

Together - Peel Common Nursery and Infant School is on a constant journey of improvement through rigorous self-evaluation, reflection and working with other partners. We believe that a strong partnership with families helps all children to achieve their potential.

Place to be Me - Peel Common Nursery and Infant School is a place where EVERYONE is valued and is allowed and encouraged to be themselves. Children and adults have the opportunity to follow individual interests and develop ideas within a culture of supportiveness. Emotional intelligence and a positive emotional climate is actively promoted.

We hope this website will help you to get a feel for the ethos of our school. We look forward to you joining us and becoming part of our school family.
